Canvas Lounge: A Diverse and Laid-Back LGBTQ+ Bar in Nashville

Forst time visitor was in town checking out the nightlife. This is a nice little place and they will not put up with people staring trouble with others inside thier bar. I had first hand experience, guy wanted to start trouble and get in my face finally got him to walk away. He than he got in his own trouble with thw staff. Staff and other i assume to be regulars check on me to see if I was okay. I shook it off and enjoyed having a great time. Thursday nights are karaoke nights and they got some people with vocals that hit that stage!!!!!!! Friday they have a DJ spinning the jams. Thanks again to bartender John aka Daddy for putting my hoodie in the file cabinet so I could get it back!!!!!! Will definitely go back whenever im in town again. LOVE YA CANVAS thanks for treating a Kansas City MO boy a great time.

The tall black guy has a seriously great attitude towards guests! I asked for 3 shots of blanco tequila and he poured 8 and said keep the change. Didn’t charge me for taking extra napkins, told my friends they were all banned and was kidding except for the guy with the glass eye, he was serious about him! lol! On a serious note the new food menu is amazing! Definitely corn for happy hour, it’s worth it! And it’s the best place for karaoke in town on Thursday and Sunday! Cheers!

Great space, wonderful bartenders, and one of the best happy hours in town. Big props to our favorite bartenders in town: Vince, Joey, NC, and Ryan!

Drinks are strong, n affordable. NC is an amazing bartender with the best personality ever! I go here often and have never had a bad experience just good vibes and a good time.

Had an amazing time hanging out here, my bartender Wil Brintnall was amazing and very personable. Definitely will be back to hang with him and Vince .

Wil is everything. Had such an incredible time at Canvas, and a huge part of that was thanks to Wil. From the moment we walked in, he made the space feel welcoming, fun, and full of good energy. He’s attentive without hovering, friendly without being fake, and somehow manages to make everyone feel seen — which matters so much in queer spaces. Drinks were perfect, vibes were immaculate, and Wil’s personality truly elevated the whole night. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and that energy carries through the entire bar.
